Helping you take your Photography to the next level
Mark your calendar and plan to join us on March 12th for a Birding Photography Field Trip.
We plan to meet at 7:30 AM at the usual place in the MountainView parking lot. The drive to Patagonia and the Paton Center for Hummingbirds https://tucsonbirds.org/paton-center/ should take a little over 2 hours with a coffee and restroom stop in Sonoita. Photographing birds isn't always easy, but the feeders at the Paton Center should provider a relatively easy introduction for the novice photographer, as well as the chance for some spectacular images of the uncommon and rare birds that regularly show up there. Many winter birds should still be around in mid-March, as well as some early arriving Spring migrants.
After several hours at the Paton Center we will drive to a lunch spot in Tubac, followed by a brief afternoon stop at the Canoa Ranch Conservation Lake in Green Valley. We plan to be back in Saddlebrooke around 5PM with lots of great images of birds (and other critters).
