Sharon will present a slideshow of members' best of show photos. It's a great chance to see what your fellow club members have produced. Always lots of "oohs" and "aahs". The show will be in a hybrid format - ie. in the Coyote Room and also on Zoom.

These best of year shows are always inspirational and lots of fun.

We'll start the presentation at 9:00 am, but will open up the Zoom and in person meeting at 8:30 for chatting and discussion of club business.

Submitting your images:

Number of Images: Please select your best photos, up to a maximum of 10 from 2022.

Deadline:

Our Best of Show Presentation will be February 11, 2023. Since it takes a while for me to get them all set up, I am requesting that you please submit your pictures by no later than Friday, February 3, 2023.

No Resizing Required:

You do not need to resize your images. I will resize them after I receive them. However it is critical that you follow the procedure exactly so that I can receive and identify your images.

** NO EMAIL SUBMISSIONS - Since many email servers are unable to handle the larger images (including mine) you will be uploading your images to the share folder on Smugmug. Since all images are going to the same location, following the naming convention is critical or I won’t know who the images are from.

For submitting your best of show images.

1)    Do any corrections or refinements to your images and store them in your usual manner

2)   Feel free to crop your image to any format.

3)    NAMING IS CRITICAL - Name your files:

a)    Your Name First

b)    -

c)   Name of your picture

d)   Use underscores between words.

4)   UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES TO THE BEST OF YEAR FOLDER

a)    In your browser, go to

b)  Drag and drop your image in the box at the center of the screen

c)    Leave the browser open until you see that all of your images have uploaded.
d) (If you find that your images are uploading too slowly, you may choose to downsize them, but not smaller than 1 mb. Otherwise please leave them full resolution).

5)  I WILL SEND CONFIRMATION that your images have been received within 48 hours. If you don’t get a confirmation, it means that I don’t have the images.

6)    Once the images are prepared for the show, they will be moved to the Best of Year 2023 folder for viewing.
